The Drawing
Everything begins with a line. Our designers sketch each silhouette by hand, defining the proportions, lines and spirit of each piece. The drawing is the first act of creation, where intuition meets technique.
Choosing the Fabrics
We travel to the most prestigious European mills to select our fabrics: Super 150s wool from Italy, Lyon silks, Scottish cashmere. Each material is chosen for its nobility, drape and longevity.
The Cut
Our master tailors cut each piece with millimetric precision. The Smalto cut is distinguished by its natural shoulders, cinched waist and impeccable drape — a subtle balance between structure and fluidity.
The Assembly
Assembly requires more than 200 distinct operations for a single suit. Every seam, every lining, every buttonhole is crafted to the most exacting standards of menswear haute couture.
The Finishing
The final pressing, the saddler stitching, the setting of genuine mother-of-pearl buttons: the finishing touches are the seal of Smalto excellence. It is in these invisible details that the true nobility of an exceptional piece is revealed.
